Hanover, Germany, September 8, 2026. Continental supplies factory-fitted tires for the new Audi Q3, providing year-round performance in summer heat, autumn rain and winter snow. For its compact SUV model, Audi has granted original-equipment approvals for the EcoContact 6 Q summer tire. The car manufacturer also recommends the ProContact TX10 all-season tire and the WinterContact TS 870 P winter tire. The approvals cover tire sizes from 17 to 20 inches.
The EcoContact 6 Q is a summer tire designed for particularly low rolling resistance and high energy efficiency. A specially developed rubber compound and an optimized tread pattern reduce rolling resistance, helping to lower fuel consumption. At the same time, the tire impresses with low rolling noise and short braking distances on both wet and dry surfaces. The EcoContact 6 Q is approved for the Audi Q3 in 18-, 19- and 20-inch sizes.
The ProContact TX10 is a reliable all-season tire for drivers who want one tire for all seasons. It is designed to provide balanced traction in all weather conditions, offering reliable braking performance on wet roads, low rolling noise and good grip in light snow. The ProContact TX10 is approved for the US and Canadian market and is available in 18-, 19- and 20-inch sizes.
Safe through winter with Continental’s WinterContact TS 870 P
For demanding winter conditions, Audi recommends Continental’s WinterContact TS 870 P winter tire. Thanks to its newly developed tread design and innovative sipes, it provides reliable grip on snow and ice. Its rubber compound remains flexible even at low temperatures, enabling short braking distances and confident handling in cold, wet and snowy conditions. The WinterContact TS 870 P is approved for the Audi Q3 in 17- and 19-inch sizes.
